Moctezuma's hut

A new facility for groups
Our latest construction is a located near to the slope and the
'waterfall', nested in its own little valley and surrounded by a young forest
since this was an ideal site for arranging events and seminars for

enough far away to be private and quiet. The construction of the hut is simple, given

The name Moctezuma's hut
| The name Moctezuma's hut was given to our seminar
facility due to the bird oropendula
moctezuma. Colonies of this bird used to make their nests in an old
pochote tree near the
present day hut.
Moctezuma, originaly, was the name of the last emperor of the Aztecs. The impresive Aztec imperium was
conquered by a little Spanish army leaded by Hernán Cortés. Farmers
in the area north of the Managua Lake tell that Moctezuma fled to
Nicaragua with all his gold, and hided it in an island of the Moyoá
Lagoon.
We suppose, that the golden tail of the oropendula have
something to do with that story. |
