Catch a taxi at the airport

The taxis with license to take passengers in the airport are rather expensive. You will only have to pay about half the price if you catch the taxi at the highway just in front of the airport-building (less than 100 m walking). Take a look at the quality of the car before you decide who you will hire. You have to travel 70 minutes in it! And the old cars cost the same as the new ones.

Tell the taxi driver you are going 3 km North of Masatepe, all on paved road.

• Look for our signs
• Ask, most people in Masatepe should know Flor de Pochote
• If they do not know, ask for 'Casa de Rubén Arévalo' (the house of our late, but still well known neigbour)
