There are many ways to get in touch with nature.

We provide options for people looking for physical activities as well as for those who prefer quiet nature observation. Our aim is to give each individual visitor access to the experiences and information, he or she is looking for.

We arrange trips, mainly on foot, but also by horse or - if you desire - in ox-barrel.

Experience local enterprises

Farming and handicraft workshops are the main economic activities in the area. Generally they are small, family-based enterprises, whose owners are pleased to show their labor to visitors.

We arrange visits and will organize your participation in the working processes if you have the time and patience to learn how to.

Playing and learning

Many times playing is the best way to learn.

One of our projects is a nature like playground, where children (and others) can have fun exploring their own capacity to overcome trees, rocks and other challenges of the environment.

We also provide educational activities on the farm, such as exercises in following a map, identifying plants, or estimating the dimensions of objects in the landscape.

Learning Spanish

We have an agreement of cooperation with the Spanish school 'Ave Nicaragüita', which operates in Granada, about 35 km from here. Sometimes they bring their students to Flor de Pochote to give them practical training in talking about natural or rural topics.

Due to this connection, we can arrange Spanish courses for groups that want to study while living in the countryside.
